MONOLINK EXPLORES A DARKER SIDE IN HIS NEW SINGLE 'SINNER'

“With the first single ‘Sinner’ I wanted to explore a darker side of me, writing a fictional goodbye letter to a world that’s not worth living in anymore”.

‘Sinner’ is Monolink’s latest single, and also his first release of the decade. It’s the beginning of a new chapter for the esteemed German producer and multi-instrumentalist.

Out now via Embassy One, Sinner is another unique slice of vocal led melodic techno from the German singer-songwriter and is the first single to be taken from his forthcoming sophomore album, which will be released later this year. The driving bassline combined with a haunting, yet almost seductive vocal creates a special kind of energy, that will be sure to make people move.

The story of a fictional letter to the world creates an interesting narrative for the listener, and brings the song to life. The character has become a ‘sinner’ as a result of society, and so writes a goodbye letter to the world that ruined him.

Sinner is rather scarily fitting for the current climate around the world.
